Take home a tee from The Wishbone Brawl 2018, where PGA pros striped our Linksoul Woods at Goat Hill Park, a municipal course we saved, here in our hometown of Oceanside. Held the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the no-ropes, family-friendly tournament has made its mark as a true testament of golf, as it should be. This year's pro teams included Charley Hoffman and Xander Schauffele vs. Mike Weir and Dean Wilson. This was the 2nd annual event to raise money for local charities.
In 2014, Linksoul founders John Ashworth and Geoff Cunningham, along with the residents of Oceanside, Calif., fought to save our local municipal golf course. After years of love and elbow grease, Goat Hill Park now serves as a community space, and model for natural, accessible public golf courses across the country. Everyone welcome.
