    Description

100% of proceeds from The Desi Tee will be donated to GoFundMe in support of his immediate family to help with the surge of lasting medical bills and more day-to-day financial aspects of keeping life in order after his passing.

Thank you for your support, Linksouldiers.... to Desi. Cheers.

Scott "Desi" Desidero, was a close friend of Linksoul's and a beloved member of the Oceanside community, who recently passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in Southern California, he thrived spending time outdoors; surfing, camping, making friends all over the action sports world, and fully enjoying the California coast. Aside from his career in marketing and events, Desi loved giving back to the community. He served as an event producer for A Walk on Water, a 501c3 that does surf therapy for kids with special needs. He also started the yearly event, Camp Shred, a free community experience and the world's largest surfboard demo, 20 minutes south of Oside, at the San Elijo California State Park campgrounds.

For Desi, everything revolved around surfing. His pro surfing career later segued him into marketing and events, keeping close to the surf community and bringing others together. As well as surfing, he was a big music guy. We’re dubbing this the "The Desi Tee" to honor him because when he saw this logo during the launch of our MGF Van Tour, it reminded him of his favorite heavy metal band, Black Sabbath, and he immediately fell in love.

Thank you, Desi for helping us link souls with others all these years... for the support, the dedication to your friends and family, and for just being straight-up real in a world where that can be hard to find. This community will continue to feel you here forever more.
