A few months ago, we had the wonderful opportunity to spend a few weeks down in Nicaragua with some of our closest friends who also happen to be some of the world's best surfers and golfers. It was a perfect time to get a taste of the rich Nicaraguan culture while enjoying empty waves and playing a few holes at some of the most beautiful courses in Central America. The only problem was that all the golfers just wanted to surf and all the surfers just wanted golf. But it was nothing that a few ice-cold Toñas (Nicaraguan lager) couldn't mediate. Our trip in a nutshell: surf; eat; golf; sleep; repeat.
